Zombie Revenge Game Sample - Dreamcast

Zombie Revenge Game Sample - Dreamcast Video Clips. Duration : 7.98 Mins.

Original Air Date: April 04th, 2009 While me or my bro insert personal little snippets here and there about how we feel about these games and what you can do, YouTubers like alvieao2 say things I don't think we could say better ourselves, lol. This game is like Streets of Rage and House of the Dead basically. In other words, a cool brawler with Zombies and B-Movie-ish acting. Playing as the all-rounder Stick Breitling, the well-endowed and swift Linda Rotta, or Rikiya Busujima, the strong Japanese man of few words, you go toe-to-toe with evil. Originally intended to be a sidestory to "The House of the Dead" and a general spinoff, you have to stop the antagonist, Zed, from unleashing a UDS called the "God of Destruction", which will kill all humans. You can do a number of melee moves and gain a variety of weapons to send the zombies to hell. Great game with some cheap thrills, and challenging to boot. Enjoy.

Adventures in Game Development Chapter 15 Part 3 Tube. Duration : 6.50 Mins.

Part 1 - www.youtube.com Part 2 - www.youtube.com Part 3 - www.youtube.com Part 4 - www.youtube.com Elysian Shadows Development Journal Chapter 15 elysianshadows.com After several weeks of delays, Chapter 15 is finally here. As you can see from the video, the majority of the time was spent screwing around with the engine. It was still productive, though. We tweaked Lua in a few places, and it got us even more ready to throw down on the actual Elysian Shadows. Unfortunately this will be our last video for several weeks. All of us have final exams, work projects, and other things eating our time. It's either we take a break or continue work without being able to give the project our full attention. We would rather not make contributions or videos that aren't up to our own standards. Full news post along with a detailed look into the status of our project here elysianshadows.com MARIO BROS - There are still parts of the level (as you could see) that were slightly sketchy. Keep in mind that this was made in a day. We didn't want to cheat and continue working after 24 hours. I have faith that it could be made perfectly if we had another day. CAMERA ISSUES - As you can see, Youtube is now widescreen. This makes our videos look even shittier than ever. I attempted to record this chapter at 640x480 (highest resolution our cheap camera can do), but it still looks bad. I am considering perhaps starting a donation fund to help us get a new camera. The audio and video completely suck ...

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Overview

Most Sonic the Hedgehog games are specifically for Sega related platforms but Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is an original game made for the Nintendo GameCube. Sonic and crew need to stop Dr. Eggman from his nasty tricks again. There's new characters brought into the Sonic universe! A mysterious dark hedgehog called Shadow and a bat named Rouge. The Sonic Adventure 2 Battle has been enhanced with graphics, doubling the framerate and now is set as a multiplayer system.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Specifications

Sega's mascot made his 3-D debut on the Dreamcast, but with the demise of that system the zippy blue hedgehog is popping up everywhere--including on the GameCube. Unfortunately, his first next-gen appearance, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, is marred by the same 3-D camera problems that plagued the Dreamcast version, and the multiplayer "battle" component isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

Right out of the gate, players have the option of choosing Hero (Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles) or Dark (Dr. Eggman, Shadow, and Rouge) quests, which are completely different. Sonic and his dark counterpart Shadow traverse levels at warp speed colleting coins and power-ups while fighting enemies in the game's most exhilarating moments. Unfortunately, the other characters are nowhere near as fun to play. Dr. Eggman and Tails fight through levels that require little more than constant button-mashing to shoot an endless procession of enemies, and Knuckles and Rouge participate in seemingly endless levels that require searching for a variety of objects.

Graphically, the game is a bit of a letdown considering the processing muscle of GameCube. Models are fairly simplistic, and level textures are sometimes bland. Game Boy Advance owners can use a link cable to download Chao from the game and train them on the go, but the rewards for doing so are minor considering the time investment involved. The main feature this game offers over its Dreamcast predecessor is the variety of multiplayer modes, which are fun but offer none of the depth or replayability of standalone multiplayer games like Super Smash Bros. Melee. Still, they are nice additions--especially the racing games--and round out a flawed single-player component. Sonic addicts who missed this game the first time around on the Dreamcast will definitely want to check it out, but the finicky camera, tedious non-Sonic/Shadow levels in single-player mode, and surprisingly shallow multiplayer components (especially the Chao games) turn what could have been a great game into a mere good one. --T. Byrl Baker

Pros:

  • Plenty of variety
  • Sonic/Shadow levels are pure, unadulterated fun
Cons:
  • Knuckles/Rouge levels are tedious
  • Multiplayer aspects could use some more depth
